SENIOR PASTORS

Carlos & Liliana Torres

Pastors Carlos and Liliana Torres are the founders and senior pastors of Ecclesia Church, answering God’s call to plant and lead a life-giving church in Southeast Texas. Their hearts beat for the vision of Ecclesia — Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples — and they are deeply committed to seeing that vision take root in this region.

With a passion for reaching the lost, equipping believers, and building a vibrant community of faith, they lead with humility, authenticity, and an unwavering dedication to serve Southeast Texas for the glory of God. Every message, outreach, and act of service reflects their desire to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

ASSOCIATE PASTORS

Baldo & Sarai Pompa

Pastor Baldo and Pastor Sarai Pompa have been married for over 30 years and serve as Associate Pastors at Ecclesia Church.

Pastor Sarai oversees the children's Ministry, e-Kids while Pastor Bald serves as an oversight for every major part of the coordination, facilities and systems of the church, ensuring that things run smoothly for every ministry.

Their passion lies in fostering community through small groups, discipling children to know and love Jesus, and ensuring every event and project is executed with excellence. They are dedicated to the church’s vision and love traveling with their family!

Pastoral Care

José & Dannette Menendez

Pastor José and Dannette Menéndez have been married for over 30 years and have faithfully served the Lord since their youth.

In their pastoral care role, they address the specific needs of Ecclesia's members and offer premarital classes, marriage support, and various discipleship and baptism courses. Their mission is to embody Ecclesia's vision of loving God, loving people, and making disciples.

Terence & Abigail Chang

Pastors Terence and Abby graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute with diplomas in Practical Theology.

After graduation, they returned to Port Arthur to volunteer with the Youth, Sound, and Media teams. They now lead the youth ministry at Ecclesia.

Their mission is to help young people encounter the living God in transformative ways, empowering them to impact their generation and beyond. Through authentic faith experiences and meaningful connections, they strive to inspire lasting change in their lives and the world around them.

Isabella Torres
Office Receptionist & Public Liaison
Isabella serves as the warm and welcoming face of Ecclesia, connecting people with the right resources and ensuring every detail behind the scenes runs smoothly. She manages our office operations with excellence, from keeping our People Platform directory updated to coordinating events and maintaining the church calendar. Beyond her administrative role, Isabella is also a gifted member of our worship team, where she leads others into the presence of God through music. With a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, she brings a unique blend of professional expertise and compassion, also serving as a licensed therapist. Her heart for people and dedication to excellence make her an invaluable part of both our staff and church family.

Terence Chang
Technical Director
At Ecclesia, Terence Chang serves as the Technical Director, overseeing all aspects of live production, broadcast, and creative technology. He leads the camera team, coordinates livestream operations, and ensures seamless integration across ProPresenter, lighting, and sound systems. With a hands-on approach, Terence directs and trains volunteers, builds scalable workflows, and solves complex technical challenges across Sunday services, youth events, and special gatherings. His role bridges creativity and execution—whether designing a multi-cam setup, managing livestream switchers, troubleshooting Dante audio networks, or syncing stage visuals with worship flow. Terence also supports Ecclesia’s social media and marketing efforts by providing high-quality content capture and post-production direction. Beyond the booth, Terence brings vision, systems thinking, and a heart for excellence to everything he does, making sure every service communicates the gospel clearly and creatively—both in the room and online.

Abigail Chang
Social Media Director
Abigail leads all things digital at Ecclesia, where she combines creativity, strategy, and heart to tell the stories that matter. As Social Media Director, she manages content creation, branding, photography, and online engagement across platforms—ensuring that every post reflects our mission and connects with our community. With a passion for visual storytelling and a deep love for the local church, Abigail crafts meaningful content that inspires, informs, and invites people closer to Jesus. Whether she’s behind the camera, editing a reel, or coordinating a media team, her goal is simple: make the message unforgettable. Outside of ministry, you can find her baking, exploring new creative outlets, or working on her photo and videography business.

Agustina Herrera
Worship Director
Agustina serves as Worship Director at Ecclesia, where she leads with both skill and heart. She oversees worship schedules, events, and vocal training while pastoring the team and cultivating a culture of excellence in God’s presence. She is passionate about raising up worshippers who are not only musically equipped but spiritually grounded. Alongside her role in worship, Agustina also helps coordinate our Visitors Ministry—making personal calls to guests and new attendees, ensuring they feel at home, and streamlining membership classes and materials to help people take their next steps in faith. Agustina is a graduate of Southeastern University with a degree in Church Music and Vocal Performance. Outside of ministry, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Arthur, and never passes up a good cup of coffee.
